Why choose Ashihara Kaikan? What is going to make you choose this particular fighting skill?
We will try to offer you justification for this choice through the whole spectrum of separate aspects of Ashihara Kaikan that are exercised in the trainings:

1. Physical, fitness and flexibility aspects.

Properly chosen strength exercises, system of aerobic conditioning exercises, loosening up exercises, without insisting on exhausting trainings and with encouraging beginners to be personally motivated for raising the intensity of trainings; and you will achieve a considerable level of development in six month of regular trainings three times a week.

2. Technical aspect.

Those who think of ‘Ashihara Kaikan’ as a skill designed only for strong are either malicious or they don’t understand the essence. Technical aspect is the one that refutes this kind of view and gives the superiority to ‘Ashihara Kaikan’ as a martial art. With the equalized program verified through practice, you can reach every one out of ten KYU (a level of a trainee title) in six months with exercising three times a week. At the 8th level you will become dominant over amateurs and a very serious opponent to trained.

3. Mental aspect

An aspect that certainly gives you the feeling of actual belonging to the circles of martial arts. By learning the basic of static meditation and meditation in movement, when you reach a certain level, at first unconsciously and later consciously, you will enhance your self-confidence, strengthen your personality, overcome all irrational fears, think faster and make better decisions, establish better relations with your surrounding, and altogether be a better person. A reasonably good level of success is achieved at the third level.

4. Tameshiwari

A simple definition of Tameshiwari is that it is about breaking tiles or other hard materials with blowing surfaces of a hand, a leg or a head. As the time goes by through systematic trainings you are discovering the more significant background of Tameshiwari technique that was explained by great master Masutasu Oyama as ‘a technique without Tameshiwari is just like a fruit tree without fruits’. “.

5. Fighting aspect.

A fight should be seen as the highest aspect in the spectrum, because it is a set of everything that had been learned, that is a set of all previously mentioned aspects. By the regulation the trainees up to the third level should not enter a fight. As every rule has an exception, there is a possibility for more advanced and talented trainees to get into a fight earlier.

6. Aspect of self-defense.

This aspect is a characteristic of our clubs taking into account they are the only clubs in Serbia that practice a self-defense method according to Sabaki system as an obligatory segment of training. In a relatively short period you will get a maximum development with a minimum risk involved.

7. Educational aspect.
